Office One is a Grade A office building located in the busy office district at Jl. HR Rasuna Said Kuningan, Jakarta, Indonesia. The interior design followed the architect’s concept and developed the interior lobby and other public areas. The design concept was inspired by the diamond symbol and how this gem has both a smooth and rough face. This idea was then further translated into contrasting smooth and rough materials for the floors and walls, while strong, masculine, horizontal lines were softened by softer, textured glass elements on the reception wall.
Since the lobby is the center of activation that promotes spontaneous encounters and collaboration, we added a few dark touches across the background to accentuate a polished and timeless luxury atmosphere. In the end, the design has successfully created a welcoming yet grand layout that maximizes natural light for its majestic reception lobby and waiting room.
